2. What data do we collect?

The underlying Privacy Policy is applicable in light of the organisation of the Educaid.be international conference and applies only to the personal data collected for this conference. VVOB’s Privacy Policy available on VVOB’s website, shall remain applicable for all other personal data processing activities of the organisation. By agreeing to the registration process for participation and to the privacy policy, you agree to the processing of your personal data as set out bellow.

VVOB - education for development collects the following data in light of the organisation of the Educaid.be International Conference ‘The cross-impact of climate change and educationheld on October 20th & 21st 2022:

  • First name of the participants;
  • Last name of the participants;
  • The organisation participants work for or the organisation they represent;
  • Participants’ email addresses.

3. How do we collect your data?

You directly provide VVOB with the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register on our website www.educaid.be for the conference
  • Or the case being, when you participate online to the conference without former registration.

4. How will we use your data?

VVOB collects your data to:

  • Give you online access to the conference on October 20 & 21 2022;
  • Give you access in person to the conference in Brussels on October 20 & 21 2022;
  • Make name tags for the participants who will attend the conference in person
  • Create a printed list of names of participants participating in person for sign in when they arrive at the event;
  • To obtain an overview of the amount of actual attendees, both online and in person;
  • Add your email address to their newsletter mailing list to invite you for other Educaid.be events en to keep you up to date with news about the platform.

5. How do we store your data?

VVOB securely stores your personal data in our secured local computer system with restricted access being granted to only the organisers of the conference.

VVOB will keep your personal data for two weeks after the conference untill November 4th  2022. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by wiping the personal data out of our computer system].

The provided email address however shall be added to Educaid's newsletter mailing list so that you can keep up to date with news about and activities of Educaid.be.

6. Marketing Purposes

You have the right at any time to stop VVOB from contacting you for marketing purposes.
