Strategies to facilitate transition at the level of public authorities (governmental & policy level)

Working towards girls’ participation in transition activities and their access to the labour market and decent work opportunities includes supporting the government to:

  • Analyse the situation of young women regarding their access to and participation in the job market, and formulate measures to tackle the identified constraints.
  • Facilitate access to self-employment for young women.
  • Develop employment offices for both job-seekers and employers with services such as career guidance, employment counselling, identification of job profiles, job placement, job matching, etc.
