Stijn De Lameillieure works as Education Advisor at the European Commission, DG International Cooperation and Development (DG DEVCO).

He has 18 years of experience and his main areas of expertise include poverty reduction, education, child protection and disaster risk reduction. He has previously worked as programme manager for UNDP, Unicef and Save the Children and has been based in Ecuador, Brazil and Angola.

Stijn is currently DG DEVCO’s focal point for education in fragile countries affected by protracted crisis, including education for forcibly displaced children and young people.
