She is a medical doctor from India, who has an expertise in HIV and TB and is passionate about public health issues. Her interest in sustainability of health systems encouraged her to be part of the working group.

Her work with the community motivated her to inquire the scope of impact towards developmental activities on planetary health. She is an advocate of sustainable and conscious living. She believes that a healthy synergy between academia and planetary health could be a great opportunity to stimulate discussion and  accelerate the planetary health movement.
