Scratch
In the Baobab room, Inge Vandevyvere, Global Strategic Education Advisor at VVOB, will lead an offline coding session called an “unplugged Scratch exercise.” This interactive session, designed for small groups of about five participants, will allow attendees to explore coding concepts without the need for devices or connectivity. Inge has prepared scratch building blocks for three groups, with each exercise taking approximately 10 minutes.

AI4EDU
In the Ubuntu room, Jonathan Ponsard and Pierre Verbiest from TechnofuturTIC, along with Martin Mbaga, will present a one-hour practical session focused on integrating AI into education. This interactive workshop will guide participants through tools designed to make AI accessible to educators, showcasing innovative methods to enhance teaching practices.
TechnofuturTIC is a skills center dedicated to training and support in the digital field for businesses, job seekers, and teachers. Through its eduLAB project, a pedagogical innovation space, it offers a new and innovative training program: AI Coordinator to help teachers integrate artificial intelligence into their practices. Since its launch, 1500 teachers have participated in the various modules. The program is expected to expand to Quebec in 2025, and possibly to Burkina Faso.
During this one-hour AI4EDU practical workshop, you will discover several tools integrated into the main modules: VitaSciences for understanding Machine Learning, Art and Culture for developing advanced prompts, Magic School for creating assessment grids, and OCR for leveraging tutoring.
