Ndèye Maye Dieng
Youth Delegate COP27 - Senegal
Ndèye Maye Dieng is a young Senegalese woman of 22 years old, studying for a Master in Plant and Microbial Biotechnologies (BIOVEM) at the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar.
Being active in the treatment of agroecological issues, she is doing her thesis in Microbiology at the Institute of Research for Development (IRD - Dakar). She also followed a training course in Advocacy on Climate Change with Plan International Senegal.
Ndèye Maye Dieng is the Partnership Officer of the Young Volunteers for the Environment (JVE-Senegal), and is also one of the organisers of the "Ndajé Agroecology", a monthly meeting to discuss good agricultural practices with stakeholders from different parts of the country.
Focal Point for Adolescent and Youth Reproductive Health in the region of Saint-Louis in Senegal, Ndèye Maye Dieng has recently created a club called "Green Heart Team" which aims to instil environmental education in children.
