Michel Vaillant, Teacher-researcher in geography at ISTOM (School of International Agro-development Engineering, Angers). As a PhD in geography, his main subject of study and research is agricultural development, a subject he has worked on during his professional experiences, mainly in West Africa and Latin America. Within the framework of the PACAD project led by the ISTOM Research Unit "Agro-development and Innovations in the South" and with financial support from AUF, he is more specifically interested in the relationship between the evolution of landscapes and the past and recent transformations of the various forms of beekeeping on a territorial scale.
