
Humberto Camacho
National Coordinator of the Salesian Planning and Development Office | OFPROBOL
Humberto Camacho is from Cochabamba – Bolivia. He holds a BS in Civil Engineering, a MSc. in Water Resources Management (UNESCO-IHE, Delft-The Netherlands) and during the period 2015-2016 he was selected to be part of the prestigious Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program, offered by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State, based at the University of California Davis, with a main focus in sustainable development, environmental protection and climate change.
For the last 15 years, Humberto has worked in the field of international cooperation and development; he is the National Coordinator of the Salesian Planning and Development Office (OFPROBOL), a Bolivian NGO in charge of attending the development needs of the Salesian´s of Don Bosco works in Bolivia, focused on disadvantaged and marginalized youth from rural and peri-urban contexts. OFPROBOL coordinates the implementation of sustainable development projects and programs in direct collaboration with local and international partner organizations from Europe and the U.S., in the sectors of Education, Training & Employment, Agriculture & Rural Development and Climate Change & Environment, among others.
