Since 2015, Ali Oumarou has headed up the project “Pour une meilleure protection des filles au Niger”, led by Plan International Niger with four partner NGOs. This project benefits from support from the Belgian Cooperation among others.

As a coordinator, Ali Oumarou is also responsible for coming together with other actors in charge of questions pertaining to reproductive health which are an essential part of meeting the objectives set.

Before joining Plan International Niger, Ali Oumarou worked in the Ministry for Social Development, the Population, Promotion of Women and Protection of Children in Niger. He holds a Masters in Genetic and Differential Psychology from the National University of Abidjan.
