Alexis Doucet

Alexis Doucet is a Belgian expert with a Master’s degree in Architectural and Civil Engineering from University of Liège and a postgraduate Master in Human Settlements from KU Leuven University. For the last 15 years, Eng. Doucet has coordinated and implemented development projects related to public buildings and urban development in a dozen countries in Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe and the Caribbean.
He has been working since 2016 as an International Technical Advisor to Enabel in Palestine on the implementation of green school infrastructure, fab-labs and public spaces projects. The schools built and retrofitted are exploring and testing environment-friendly concepts and features such as passive buildings, natural ventilation, thermal insulation, solar energy, water recycling and eco-friendly materials, with a special attention to the learning environment and to child-friendly design. The same projects also support environment awareness raising campaign with students.
