Lead Economist and Policy Advisor, World Bank and Solutions for Youth Employment Coalition (S4YE)

Dr. Nicole Goldin is consulting Lead Economist and Policy Advisor to the World Bank and Solutions for Youth Employment Coalition (S4YE) where she was the Lead Author of “Toward Solutions for Youth Employment: A 2015 Baseline Report”.

She is also an adjunct professor at George Washington University’s Elliot School of International Affairs and non-resident senior associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) where she was previously the founding director of the Youth Prosperity and Security Initiative and architect of the Global Youth Wellbeing Index.  She is also leads a private practice, NRG Advisory. 

Prior, she was Senior Advisor at the State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) where she led the creation of its first-ever Youth In Development Policy. She is on the board of Educate! and is an advisor to She's The First.  She holds a Ph.D. in economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London, UK.
