My name is NINZIZA Kenitra Marti, son of HAKIZIMANA Telesphore and NDAYIZEYE Théodosie. I am the eldest of a family of six children (four boys and two girls); I was born on Thursday 4 October 1990 in a province in the north of Burundi.

After graduating from the University of Burundi with a degree in urban planning engineering, the political and security crisis that my country has been going through since 2015 made me one of thousands of refugees living in Rwanda. I have been working for Maison Shalom for 6 years and am currently in charge of coordinating Maison Shalom's activities in its office in Mahama camp.
