The Board of Directors of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) is meeting in Brussels on 12-14 June 2018.

The GPE Board of Directors is the supreme governing body of the partnership and sets its policies and strategies. It includes members from developing country governments and all development partners: donors, civil society organizations, private sector and foundations, and multilateral agencies and regional banks. The responsibilities of the Board include: reviewing annual objectives of the Partnership, mobilizing resources, monitoring financial resources and funding, advocating for the partnership, and overseeing the secretariat budget and work plan.

As the Belgian platform for education and development, Educaid.be considered this an opportune moment to organise a briefing session on the activities and functioning of the GPE, and the priorities and role of the European Union and Belgium with regard to this multilateral agency.

The seminar will be conducted in English, but questions can also be addressed in French. We are unfortunately unable to provide any translation services.

Sandwiches and drinks will be offered.
