Samba Fatim Mbaye has 26 years' experience in programme management, sponsorship, project implementation, mentoring, networking and training for children and young people, vulnerable people including those living with disabilities and women.
Within Plan International Senegal, Samba Fatim held the position of Community Development Officer from 2000 to 2005, Community Development Advisor from 2006 to 2020, Programme Implementation Officer from 2020 to 2022 and Community Engagement Coordinator since December 2022.
Among other things, this has made it possible to:

Facilitate the preparation and updating of local development plans and annual investment plans for local and regional authorities

Facilitate the organisation of operational planning sessions within local authorities;

Support local authorities in identifying, designing, implementing and monitoring/evaluating projects and programmes;

Facilitate collaboration between local authorities, administrative authorities, specialised technical services and other development partners;

Help community structures to organise themselves into autonomous, effective and efficient structures;

Initiate coordinated and planned development strategies;

Design and implement education, training, communication and organisational strategies for grassroots communities;

Manage inclusive projects with :

REGIC - Strengthening gender equality and inclusion in vocational training centres in Saint-Louis, Senegal.

Experience of the "Strengthening access and retention of young women, including those with disabilities, in vocational training centres in the Thiès region of Senegal" project.
