Joseph Opondo is the Regional Education in Emergencies Advisor at Plan International Denmark, working within the PlayMatters programme, which promotes Learning through Play and inclusive education systems strengthening across refugee and host communities in Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and South Sudan. He provides technical leadership on programme quality, implementation support, community engagement, and cross-sectoral integration, including disability inclusion and gender responsiveness.
