Born in Katanga, Christine Decelle is a visual artist and jewellery designer, marked by the African symbolic imprint. Since June 2013, she has been managing the Texaf Bilembo cultural space and is involved in curating the various exhibitions. Chridé (her artist's name) supervises visual artists during training courses, oversees school visits on African art of the past and present and shares her passion for Congolese heritage with the public. She is at the heart of the exchanges with the artists and ensures that their ideas are translated as well as possible. Within the framework of the SOS Planète Congo educational workshops, she promotes the tangible and intangible heritage of ancient Congolese cultures.
