Lieve Adam is Focal Point First Aid International Cooperation of the Belgian Red Cross-Flanders (BRC-F). In the International Cooperation Team, Lieve provides expertise, coaching and guidance to partner National Red Cross Societies in view of First Aid capacity building programmes.

The BRC-F supports First Aid programmes in 11 African countries and Nepal, contributing to the improvement of First Aid delivery services nationwide. The programmes build on international experience and qualitative evidence-based materials, adapted to the local context and specific local challenges to increase the impact on health service delivery and resilience of the population.
