Pineapple Children's Home Project is a 4th pillar organisation. After our trip to Uganda in 2022, we decided to organise a collaboration with our contacts at Pineapple School (Mr Pineapple, the management, and his team). Volunteers will help us with activities.
What do we want?
Together with our partner in Uganda, we want to make education accessible to everyone (regardless of gender or socio-economic situation) and hope to bring about change in the Lake Bunyonyi area. Everyone has the right to education in order to develop as a human being and thus have opportunities to grow into full human beings. Through education, they can actively participate in society and carry out a job.
Goals
We consult with our partner about their next steps in the development of their school and education. We provide financial support so that the funds can be used to provide employment. In this way, our partner can realise their own expansion and it provides an upgrading of the area. Power for Uganda = having the power for self-development.
Achievements
Since 2022 we have mainly collected money through various awareness-raising activities. This enabled our partner to realise the following: build brick kindergartens, kitchen and toilets, provide solar panels, play equipment, safe swimming facilities, etc.
