Hans has been working with VVOB for the past 10 years, both at country level in VVOB's office in Suriname and in the VVOB global office. He has supported and implemented programmes in early childhood, primary, and technical and vocational education across Africa, Asia, and South America. His thematic expertise includes teacher professional development, early education, play-based pedagogies, and gender-transformative education. As VVOB’s gender focal point, he is currently engaged in the Regional Teachers Initiative for Africa (RTIA), contributing to the scaling of gender-transformative pedagogy across the continent, including in early childhood education.
