Baha El Shatali has served as Gaza Education Sub-Cluster Coordinator since December 2013, initially with Save the Children (December 2013–November 2015) and subsequently with UNICEF (December 2015–present). In this role, he leads and facilitates the cluster coordination process, ensures effective information management and sharing, and identifies gaps to inform strategic response planning. Prior to joining the cluster, Baha worked for three years with UNRWA in Lebanon as a Project Manager. He also served as Capacity Building Coordinator with Save the Children Sweden and as a Youth & Adolescent Development Consultant with UNICEF. Earlier in his career, Baha spent ten years as a Project Officer with the Canaan Institute for New Pedagogy in Education, focusing on pedagogy and training. Baha holds a Master’s degree in Economic Development from the Islamic University of Gaza.
