Dr Heather Kayton is a Senior Education Specialist at the What Works Hub for Global Education at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. Her work focuses on improving educational outcomes in developing countries through evidence synthesis and translating research into evidence-based action and policy. She has over a decade of experience as a teacher and teacher trainer in South African schools and holds a PhD in Education from the University of Oxford. She is passionate about ensuring that research evidence is accessible, actionable, and relevant for diverse contexts.
