The Swallow / De Zwaluw

The Swallow was founded in 2002 in The Gambia, West Africa. It aims to be a meeting place and a source of inspiration for new quality education in the country.

Its main activities include a nursery and primary school, an integrated health project, and youth work. The Swallow seeks to be a place where new quality education is experimented with, using pedagogical methods that it has developed itself, based on the fundamental needs of children.
