Education International Belgium vzw (EIB) is a pluralistic organisation that actively advocates for the protection of Children's Rights and Women's Rights. EIB operates on the principle that education is not a privilege but a right, including for girls. Founded in 1995, EIB is run by a team of volunteers.
EIB finances and supports the development of a primary school in Ramu-Ramkot, located in the southeastern tip of Bangladesh. The school is affiliated with the orphanage and aims to provide quality education tailored to the needs of the children from the orphanage as well as underprivileged children from the local area. EIB also annually funds the expenses of 44 girls in the orphanage and provides financial support for the further studies of around 40 girls.
In Belgium, EIB organises fundraising and awareness campaigns for its projects.
