The involas Institut für berufliche Bildung, Arbeitsmarkt- und Sozialpolitik GmbH (in short: involas), is a multidisciplinary company offering academic and consultancy services at national, European and international levels.

involas is specialized in evidence-based, innovative, and sustainable solutions to key challenges in the fields of technical & vocational education and training (TVET) as well as labour-market and social policy. involas contributes to development and proof of concept of such solutions as well as to anchoring them in partner systems. All this aims at improving opportunities, perspectives, and participation of a broad range of target groups, explicitly including females and disadvantaged target groups, as well as at contributing to provision of skilled employees to the labour market.

The products and services of involas comprise context analysis, project / programme design and implementation, advisory services, studies, evaluations, result-based monitoring, databases to support vocational education and training processes as well as social and active labour-market support measures, concept development, events, as well as network management and facilitation.

For more than 30 years, involas has been supporting performance enhancement of TVET systems based on a holistic and systemic understanding, and with a focus on promoting collaboration of public, private sector and civil society stakeholders as a key success factor for demand-oriented TVET. involas is committed to equal access to education, training and learning as a lifelong process geared at promoting individual development and employability.

involas is represented on the ground with its own locations and network partners. In addition to the headquarters in Offenbach, Germany, involas has also German offices in Berlin, Bremen, and Hamburg, as well as an office in Brussels (Belgium) and Coatepec (Mexico). Plus, involas is represented in various projects at locations in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
