David has completed complex evaluations and research studies in over twenty countries with a variety of donors, governments, INGOs and community-based organisations. He is committed to helping organisations utilise the power of research and evaluation to enhance development outcomes. He provides mentoring and strategic support for a range of clients, and speaks regularly at conferences in the UK and internationally.
David holds a PhD (2010) in development geography from the University of London. His doctoral research focused on evaluating the impact of ICT on education in sub-Saharan Africa. David is an Honorary Research Associate at Royal Holloway University, a member of the UNESCO Chair in ICT4D, and Chair of Trustees for Refugee Support Network.
